Does anyone know of a web hosting company that won't be bill me for the entire year in advance?

I'd rather be able to have it charging my account monthly. Thanks!

If you don't want to pay yearly, then they would charge you much more and may be you will end up paying 2-3 times the fees in a year. So just go for annual plan.

If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months' time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account.

I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent.

They offer hosting of "unlimited domains" and you will get massive webspace of 300000 MB (300 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer "a free Domain Name" and installing service called "Fantastico". By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer "Free Website Builder" as well.

Visit the site to check details.

Almost every shared web host out there, including myself, allow monthly payments. Usually only dedicated providers require year-in-advance payments since they have to take the time to set up the server. Shared and VPS plans are usually set up with the click of a mouse.

Definitely go with monthly payments (to start out). You don't want to be locked into a year of service with a web host that you don't know anything about. After the first few months, or when you feel comfortable, look into changing your payment plan to yearly (the more you pay in advance, generally, the better deal you get).

To find a good host, I would suggest browsing around webhostingtalk.com, or talk to friends/family/coworkers that might be in the business. There's plenty of us out there that can offer a good deal with more personable support than you might find with a large web host.

Good luck!
