When you say ISP do you mean hosting yourself from home using your ISP or do you mean like a shared hosting plan at a hosting company? If it's a shared hosting plan then the dedicated server will be faster and can handle more simultaneous page requests. You should get a dedicated server if you have alot of traffic.
